The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is a non-government, non-profit,
industry led and industry managed organization, playing a proactive
role in India's development process. Founded over 100 years ago, it
is India's first business association, with direct membership of over
4250 companies from the private to public sectors, including SMEs and
MNCs, and indirect membership of over 50,000 companies from 213 states
and regions. Meanwhile, CII has 33 offices in India, 10 overseas branches
in Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, France, Hungary, Israel, Singapore,
South Africa, UK, USA and institutional partnerships with 199 counterpart
organizations in 92 countries.
Cooperating projects between CII and BIIP
1. Depending on the Indian software development technology, to run joint
venture companies in order to develop software business and to export
products to overseas market.
2. Utilizing domestic human resource of software development and Indian
software enterprises' CMM certification in order to distribute the international
software development business.
3. Cooperating with Beijing University of Post & Telecommunication
in order to develop domestic software human resource training business.
Predicted training number is 1000 - 2000 people per term.
4. Setting up software R & D base in BIIP.
