July 2, 2002, Mr. Hyung-Do Lee, the chairman of Samsung China Headquarters, visited CIIC and BIIP with Mr. Wang and Mr. Liu, the chairman and vice chairman of BIIP. This meeting administers to the cooperation between Samsung SDS (Beijng) Co. Ltd.

Samsung SDS is the main part of Samsung Group, and the biggest IT solution enterprise with revenue of US$1 billion in South Korea. It is the 38th in the IT top 500. Meanwhile, it is the biggest system integration enterprise in South Korea, and is the 7th of the worldwide system integration industry.

Samsung SDS (Beijing) Co. Ltd. is a sole investment company of Samsung as a key point of Samsung worldwide development in Chinese market. Samsung SDS mainly focuses on E-solution, intelligent building & houseing, intelligent transportation, Autoline and IT R&D. Samsung SDS consensually develop new products by depending on Samsung electron modern factory and combining the advantages of Samsung SDS in the IT R&D.

Cooperation projects with BIIP:

1. Samsung SDS (Beijing) Co. Ltd. is intending to register and set up an internationalizative R&D center in BIIP.
2. Samsung SDS (Beijing) Co. Ltd. is intending to discuss and to participate in the cooperation with Beijing University of Post & Telecommunication and the Park's basic construction with BIIP.
