The half-year working conference of the group was held in Presidential Plaza Hotel Beijing on August 9, 2004. Nine units such as the Operation Department of the group, Hengye Company, Property Company, BIIP have introduced the operation model of group company and specialized companies respectively, director of the group company, deputy president and executive deputy president of BIIP Mr. Liu Qun briefed the operation model of "one business dominating and multi-park interacting".

Mr. Liu made an introduction of China's IT industry, especially the huge potential of the development of information security industry firstly. He pointed out that BIIP would make IT industry the pillar industry for company development and gave priority to the development of information security industry and specified the industrial positioning of "one business dominating"

At the same time, BIIP also adapts to international trends to meet the robust investment momentum of multinationals such as Fortune 500 enterprises in China. With Fortune 500 enterprises as the partners and provision of green, environmentally-friendly and modern "garden-like" industrial park as the carriers, BIIP is devoted to constructing China's top-class internationalized high-tech park. On the basis of successfully development of Beijing park, BIIP has also established training, R&D, production, travel and leisure parks in key cities as Haikou, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Chongqing and Chengdu by using advantageous resources with local features, forming a development pattern of "multi-park interacting".

In order to realize the development objective ascertained by company's operation mode, BIIP relies on the three platforms as "multi-park interacting", BIIP, and "Information Security" to extend the cooperation with Fortune 500 enterprises and increase the competitiveness, i.e. on the basis of providing such products and services as in-park land and workshop for the clients, it can also offer the chances for clients to cooperate with Fortune 500 enterprises.

In the summary speech, chairman and president of the group Dr. Wang Tianyi affirmed BIIP's operation model, asked BIIP to enhance the cooperation with Fortune 500 enterprises, adapt to international trend, embark on a road of copying and expansion and speed up their step in developing parks in the marginal regions of other key cities on the basis of learning from the development and building experiences of BIIP.

Finally, President Wang encouraged the attendants that CIIC will go well up to bridle to head for success along the route depicting by operation model.
