On September 8, the group held a special operation regular
meeting at BIIP mainly for listening to plans and measures for realizing
operative objectives designed by the operation model of the company
in the third and the fourth quarters. Liu Qun, executive deputy president
of the BIIP made reports to Wang Tianyi, president of the group and
the functional departments.
Liu's reports focused on three facets: first, the work
of inviting outside investment was in process steadily. Under the background
that development parks/areas were rectifying nationwide, the information
park has overcome the affection brought by macro-control and speeded
up communication with companies that have already entered the park to
urge them to allocate contract capital in place to ensure a healthy
cash flow. Liu said with the gradual removing of land examining and
approving ban in September and October, the international park would
increase contract balance strength and investment inviting scale. All
employees of the park were confident to fulfill the designed operative
objectives.
The second phase land requisition in Beijing park has made breakthrough
and the relevant procedures were under processing. The works of out-of-town
parks were also in processing according to the plan.
Second, international co-operation experienced strategic transformation.
Liu pointed out that the development environment of the BIIP has experienced
great changes compared with the situation when famous clubs such as
Capital Club and Chang'an Club were established. It did not adapt to
the current competitive environment to inherit original strategy that
top-grade chambers relied on hardware resources such as catering, banquet
and commerce environment. Therefore, BIIP changed operation strategy
and decided to develop meeting sectors relying on strategic co-operative
partnership relations with Fortune 500, national industrial associations
and investment funds and planed investment forums by category in light
of market demand.
Third, the professional manager team building achieved some success.
At present BIIP was enforcing behavior management of the employees of
the park. The comprehensive management department has speeded up monitoring
and inspection to weekly plan and summary so as to ensure each employee
to devote into works freshly by means of work adjustment and personnel
adjustment. The park carried out rational suggestion program to encourage
all employees to submit suggestions and enhance their participation
enthusiasm. The personnel department has made career plan for each employee
and pointed out development direction and offered development opportunities
and space to them.
Wang fully confirmed the works of the park. He said the
information park was in a healthy development and created a successful
operation model. He urged the park to earnestly summarize experience
from development procedure, sales model and team building to prepare
for duplicating these experiences in other parks out of Beijing and
promoting the successful experience to other parks.
In comparison with work style of Wall Street, Wang confirmed
the management model of weekly plan and summary and called on all to
segment works to person and to day for assessment.
As to park development, Wang pointed out that China was a large agriculture
country and urbanization was irresistible. The park should integrate
all resources, strengthen ties with Fortune 500, national industrial
associations and developed provinces such as Zhejiang and Guangdong,
grasp the historical opportunity of urbanization reform to get more
land resources at the edge of central cities so as to be a scientific
developer.
The regular operation meeting was presided by Sun Qiang, deputy president
of the group. Leaders of Beijing Yinchangcheng Co. Ltd also made reports
at the meeting.
