Preparation work for
"2005 International Investment Negotiation Summit"
starts in an all-round way

In mid November 2004, the International Information Park and the State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club held a joint meeting to arrange the preparation work for "2005 International Investment Negotiation Peak" - an investment and financing platform for State-Guest Entrepreneurs' club in an all-round way. Liu Qun, executive vice-president of the International Information Park and general manager of the State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club presided the conference.

The State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club took the "investment advisory, management consultation and conference industry" as its working focus this year. It established strategic cooperative partnerships as well as investment and financing service platform for world's top 500 enterprises, investment funds, foreign embassies and consulates in China, and international chambers of commerce through local government and industrial association, and provided financial services to them.

The State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club will target at capitals of each provinces, as well as cities where the economy is well developed and where investment and financing activities take place actively. It will hold "International Investment Negotiation Summit" under the supports and co-operation of local governments to organize and absorb local enterprises to take part in the peaks. By doing these, it intends to bring capitals to local enterprises and projects and to provide investment services to them. In addition, it also intends to provide investment projects for the trans-national enterprises, such as world's top 500, and investment funds. It is planned the investment service platform project will start from spring in 2005, after which, the "International Investment Negotiation Summit" will be held countrywide. The objective is to hold the investment fair every month.

Vice-president Liu Qun explained that the strategic objectives for the establishment of the investment service platform is to make use of the resources of world's top 500 MNCs fully and to provide services to both parties involved in investment by holding investment fairs, so as to promote the development of local economy.

At the conference, Liu Qun gave detailed deployment on aspects, such as building of capital channel, governmental channel and conference planning. He required that all teams should make detailed plans and implement the plans carefully based on the working schedules made.
