Several staffs of the International Information Park came to Lianhuashan Skiing Ground in Shunyi District on Dec. 25, 2004 with leaders of Huilongguan Town, Changping District and their family members. All 19 persons enjoyed a special Christmas Day themed on "skiing" at the snow-covered Lianhua Mountain.

On a foggy morning of the Christmas Day, we came to Lianhuashan Skiing Ground in Zhangzhen Town of Shunyi District after over one hours' painstaking trip to take part in the activity co-organized by the Shopping Guide and Ozark.

Skiing was new for most staffs that took part in the activity. Excitements and expectations can be seen on smiling faces of everybody when leasing skiing tools. After changing skiing clothes, all of us came to the skiing ground eagerly with tools in hands and lumpish shoes on feet. At first, we moved our steps carefully, being afraid of falling down. Some bold ones began to slide on ground painfully. Only after several come-and-goes, our arms began to ache.

Seeing others rushed up and down in the snowy ground, we felt both jealous and anxious. Under the suggestions of vice-president Liu Qun, we invited a coach, and asked him to teach us the gist of basic actions. For example, how to slow down, how to stop ¡­rake forward the body and bend the knees¡­ drop aside when meeting emergent situations... Under the guidance of the coach, we suddenly saw the light and became very confident.

In the noon, the sun appeared in the dense fog for a short moment and then disappeared again. We, in cold snowy ground, have already had sweats all over the heads. Everybody encouraged each other and slid down from the ski run one time after another. Our postures became more and more professional and standard, and the speed became faster and faster. Of course, such progresses were made after countless dropdowns. All staffs of the information park have the emulative and insistent spirits, and have the confidence and courage to surpass themselves.

In the dinning room where tropical plants stand, we massaged ached bodies and exchanged our experiences and feelings. After the lunch, the information park took part in the competitions of "push-and-pull in snow" and "skiing relay race". During the competitions, staffs of the information park united as one and won all championships of the competitions with absolute advantages in orderly catchwords and warm cheers. Anchorman of the organizing units was greatly moved by vigor and co-operation spirits of the information park.

In the following free time, we began to appear in the ski run for intermediate and senior skiers, and our skills became more and more mature. The starting point moved higher and higher. Heartfelt excitement and pleasure for the conquering of the snowy mountain can be seen in everybody's face. At nightfall, high-spirited staffs of the information park leaf the Lianhua Mountain reluctantly.

The event was the first team building activity participated by the information park to act in the spirits of the Conclusion Conference of the Mountain-Climbing Activity and foster the team. Meanwhile, it also enhanced the friendships between the enterprises and the governmental departments. All participating leaders gave high praises to the activity and out team.

Through the "skiing activity", our staffs built up the brave and arduous-taking spirits, and established the confidence to win victory, while shaping their bodies. Moreover, they also fostered the knowledge-seeking spirits to learn new knowledge, and to acquire and master rules, which further developed the corporate culture of "seeking the excellence and caring the nature."
