On July 13-14, inviting Professor Xiao Zhuoji and his wife, Group President Wang Tianyi led a 15-person delegation consisting of Vice President Liu Qun, Vice General Manager Tian Geng and Hui Yixiang of Beijing International Information Park, and directors of such functioning departments including Department of Planning etc. to investigate Xi'an Chanba River Ecological Zone and Xi'an High-tech Development Zone (XDZ). There, such leaders as Secretary Yuan Chunqing of Xi'an Committee of CPC, XDZ Director Jing Junhai etc. respectively met President Wang and his delegation.

On the morning of July 13, Vice President Tian Geng and Vice General Manager Hui Yixiang of the Information Park Corporation firstly investigated Xi'an Software Park and held a meeting with Vice Director Zhu Liming and Zhang Xiaojun. Currently, 600-mu land has been completely developed and its annual output value will reach 6.1 billion yuan.

In the afternoon, President Wang and his delegation heard plans and first-phase work for Xi'an Chanba River Ecological Zone. According to Director General Xu Junqian and Vice Director General Kang Zhenfeng of Economic Development Bureau of Administrative Committee, leisure, holiday-makings and villas were the construction emphasis.

On the morning of July 14, President Wang led the delegation to investigate XDZ. Director Jing Junhai introduced construction for the development zone, investment invitation situation and some successful experiences to President Wang and his delegation. The delegation was accompanied by XDZ Vice Director Chen Jian, Director General Zhang Lin of Planning Bureau, Director General Li Yahong of Investment Service Bureau, Director General Wang Yi of the Fourth Investment Invitation Bureau and Vice General Manager Jia Changshun of High-tech Group to investigate XDZ.

In the evening, Mr. Yuan Chunqing, deputy Secretary of Shaanxi Committee of CPC and Secretary of Xi'an Committee of CPC met President Wang Tianyi. Secretary Yuan gave sufficient affirmation to China International Industry & Commerce Co., Ltd. (CIIC) for its intent to join in the construction of Xi'an. He said, Xi'an Committee of CPC and Municipal Government will give greatly support to CIIC.
