1st-phase standard workshops of BIIP start building

On Sep. 30, 1st-phase standard workshops of BIIP started building. Vice president Liuqun led principals of engineering, development, sales and operation departments to attending the ceremony. President Wang Tianyi, who was still in America, sent messages of congratulation. He said that an excellent commencement would lay a solid foundation for the park with ten billion market capitalization.

1st-phase standard workshops are located in the east of No.2 Street of the park, near to 20-meters' greening belt of south Dingsi Road, with superior location. The park has a total construction area of over 15,150 square meters. There are four floors above the ground. The first level is as high as 4.5 meters, and the other three ones are 4.2 meters, with 3,600 square meters for a single floor. There are complete fire control, communication, security and heating facilities. The workshops are mainly designed for R&D and processing enterprises in electronic and information industries. In order to meet special requirements of the enterprises, there keeps space for installation of equipment such as air conditioning and air cleaner.
