CIIC Group held Operation and Management Conference for Beijing International Information Park (BIIP)

On Oct. 13, CIIC's Operation Department held Operation and Management Conference for BIIP. President Wang Tianyi and other leaders as well as the leaders for all functional departments listened to the report on the development of Beijing International Information Industry Base(BIIIB) and the construction and distribution of the production and office buildings made by Liu Qun, the vice president of CIIC Group. President Wang fully recognized the work of the BIIP and praised it made a model for other companies in the group in the aspects of project development, management and distribution as well as capital operation. He hopes the company to tightly grasp two essentials of "developing and creating real estate property management, managing and integrating logistics" and "increasing industry capital, exploring financial platform" and centralize its power to forge the foundation for the company's future development with Beijing base as its working focus.

The conference is different with the former meetings in the form. On the morning of Oct. 13, the Operation Department first invited the group leaders and personnel from relevant departments numbered 30 persons to visit the foundation construction filed of Beijing Base Production and Office Building and listened Liu Qun's work report on the building's bidding, construction and distribution on site. The group leaders and leaders from functional departments are surprised at the huge change of Beijing Base and very confident of the future of Beijing Base. The achievements of BIIP won highly praises of the leaders.

President Wang Tianyi pointed that the start of Beijing Base's first self-built project issues a new signal indicating Beijing Base will enter into a rapid development phase and have a more splendid future. Wang said that BIIP efforts of building a hi-tech park out of wilderness created a model-a model of starting from scratch and successful operation. The model covers the successful experiences in the aspects of project design, land application, capital operation, project construction, promotion and publicity, base management and team construction etc. During the process of evolution, the company relies on the team's strength and built a "team" with ideas and achievements. It is an energetic, thoughtful and future-promising modernized team, which is the guarantee of the success of Beijing Base. Then Liu Qun, the vice president, showed the leaders around the base.

In the afternoon, the sales department, development department and human resource department of BIIP made reports on the distribution, land prophase development and team construction of Beijing Base respectively in the headquarters. Hui Yixiang and Tian Geng, the vice general mangers of BIIP, particularly reported the progress of the park development progress in other cities.

After listening to the report, President Wang Tianyi raised five specific demands. He said October is the "Operation and Management Month" of CIIC Group and the BIIP shall emphasize on the five aspects as following:

First, strengthening operation and management system, actively attracting powerful management personnel to intensify the company's operation and management team. Operation system shall actively develop the useful and discard the useless, build a powerful structure and pursue profit as well as creating and enlarging enterprise value.

Second, the company shall put 90% efforts in building Beijing Base and invite HOK, the best plan and design company in the world, to design the Beijing Base Proposal for its future planned area of 10-30 square kilometers.

Third, the company shall summarize the successful experiences of Beijing Base and constitute Park Development White Paper as a guideline for successful park operations to train all the personnel for building a professional park development and management team.

Fourth, the company shall focus on attracting World Top 500 companies to fully increase the value and attraction of the park.

Fifth, the company shall completely increase industry capital and enter into capital market as soon as possible. The connection of industry capital and financial capital shall be achieved and finally to convert to financial capital.
