On April 10 th -11 th , 2006, the Spring Working Conference of CIIC's Science and Technology System in 2006 of China Industrial & Commerce Co., Ltd was held at Miyun Lvyuan Club. This conference was presided over by Liu Qun, vice president of CIIC and executive vice-president of BIIP. BIIP, Life Industry System, Silver Great Wall Company and Zhong Kunheng Company made the Q1 work report respectively and the conference was joined by President Wang Tianyi, Vice-president Li Chuanjie, Jia Jing and Song Yuming and Chairman Cheng Chusan of Supervision Board as well as the leaders of all functional departments.

Deputy general manager Tian Geng made the work report on behalf of BIIP. The report has three key parts: sales, international cooperation and the development of the park. As to sales, the cash flow of the first quarter has exceeded the budget by 130%. As to international cooperation, Mr. Neal Bush was successfully invited to visit CIIC and Beijing base and to visit and conduct cooperative negotiation in Xi'an, Hainan Province, Guangdong Province in the first quarter. The company also successfully organized the bankers' breakfast party, the internal symposium of Chinese Economists 50 Forum and Sino-Europe investment hotspot forum and integrated the high level resources. The company discussed with 20 states of the US to cooperatively hold one-to-one commercial discussion meeting in the first quarter. At the same time, it discussed the cooperation with 20 companies among Fortune 500 Companies and over 10 international commercial associations. As to the development of the park, in the first quarter, the company negotiated the cooperation in inviting business and entrustment management and signed the cooperative agreements with over 10 local governments, such as Xi'an, Qingdao, Wuhan and Wuxi, etc.. At the same time, it also deeply demonstrated and prepared for the establishment of the park management company and the distribution management.

Wu Fan, manager of the Human Resources Department, briefed the achievements in employment, training and the establishment of the learning organization and. Up to the end of 2006, the number of the staff of BIIP will reach some 150. Subsequently, the new four high administrators and seven common staff expressed their working feelings and sentiments about their participation in this conference according to their own condition. All people thought that CIIC is a big stage with abundant resources and the company's culture, “pursuing excellence and advocating nature”, gave everyone a very deep impression. President Wang's strategic goal of “Take off from Great Wall and returning to the Yellow River” and the development ideas of “developing and creating real estates, managing and integrating distribution” enlighten the direction and development mode of BIIP. All staff of the company expressed that they would deeply understand the development strategy of the company and would contribute all of their own wisdoms and abilities to the company development.

President Wang Tianyi fully praised the Q1 work of BIIP. He reiterated that the BIIP played an important role in the overall strategy of “developing and creating real estates, managing and integrating distributions” of the group. In the process of the exploration of park economic development mode, the company shoulders two tasks. One task is “the establishment of the green base”, which means the land exploration and management and that the company will provide the real estate and distribution service for companies in the park through the development of the sediment real estates. In the development of the park, the special areas, such as the Yellow River Economic Development Zone, should promulgate the influencing policies to attract the industry transfer of companies in the eastern developed areas and foreign companies. The other task is “embracing the blue seas”, which means that the company will build a financial platform and the investment management company of the park to achieve the connection of industries and financial capital and to accelerate the progress of the financial platform transfer.

Hui Yixiang, the responsible person of life system, assistant to the president and the deputy general manager of BIIP, mainly briefed the development in the establishment of the air hospital and bases, the application for the agent qualification of the governmental procurement and the establishment of the network distribution, etc..

Zhao Liping, assistant to president and general manager of the Silver Great Wall Company, briefed the work development of the Silver Great Wall.

Vice-president Song Yuming briefed the investment and financing of the Zhong Kunheng Company.

Vice-president Jia Jing and Sun Meng, deputy general manager of Operational Department, briefed the work of Human Resources Department and Operational Department respectively.

Leaders of comprehensive departments highly acclaimed BIIP's work. They also fully praised the science and technology system work conference and believed that all departments could learn each other and could be inspired mutually at this conference.

President Wang stressed two points. Firstly, CIIC should shoulder the historical responsibility. With China becoming the processing center in the world, we should grab this historical opportunity and shoulder the historical responsibility to establish the state-of-the-art high science and technology park and to provide enterprises with real estates and distribution services. In the next 50 years, the real estate and the distribution industries will play a very important role in the world, which is a historical opportunity. Secondly, the bottleneck in our work should be well handled. We can adopt two ways. One is to integrate the high level resources in the world. The other is to strengthen our team's establishment to find the talents who would like to make breakthroughs, undertake the responsibility and enjoy the profit. The achievement comes from the conflict and the team can create the splendid result.

As organic parts of the work conference, CIIC organize participants of the conference to conduct many culture and sport activities, such as, planting trees, recreational evening party, morning exercise and mountaineering and climbing “the wall of CIIC”, etc.. These activities not only exercised the staff but also made them understand CIIC's concept, “pursuing the excellence and advocating the nature”.
