CIIC Group held on-site work meeting in Beijing International Information Industry Base

construction situation of Beijing Base
On June 28, 2006, China International Industry and Commerce Co. Ltd. held the on-site work meeting in Beijing International Information Industry Base(BIIIB). Liu Qun, vice-president of CIIC Group and executive vice-president of BIIP, reported the development and construction situation of Beijing Base to leaders of CIIC Group and every industries corporation.
Liu mainly reported the construction situation of the first phase self-built workshops of 15,000 m 2 . He said the first phase workshops have been putting on a ceiling, and the 140,000 m 2 workshops construction has began. BIIP will carefully carry out the strategy of “changing land into workshops”, increase the utilization rate of land and the yield rate of unit land. At the same time, according to the requirements of the group board of directors, BIIP will strengthen the park expansion in other places, develop other parks by cooperating with local government, and try to construct two parks in other places in this year. At the meeting, Liu introduced some ways and experience in breaking through the bottle neck of work. Leaders attending the meeting visited the first phase workshops in the company of Liu.
When seeing the modern workshops, people are surprised at the great change in Beijing Base. Making speeches, leaders attending the meeting said that the wasteland several years ago has become a modern industrial base and the results come from all stuff's hard work. As the pioneer enterprise of CIIC Group, BIIP bravely faces to hardship, bears risk, breaks through the work bottle neck with creative ways, and achieves work effect and experience. So, other industry corporations of CIIC Group should learn from it. Initial success of Beijing Base again proves the correctness of the operation scale. BIIP will make it as an example, stick to the development mode of “one industry dominating and several parks interaction” and copy it to other parks. The corporation will certainly realize the target—The Great Wall takes off and the Yellow River returns.
