2006 Mid-year Working Conference
On July 16, 2006, CIIC successfully held the 2006 Mid-year Work Conference. The six systems such as scientific technology, real estate, logistics, hotel, information security and life industry that were affiliated to the group and its comprehensive management departments respectively reported their work performances of the first half year and work plans for the second half year, and focused on measures and effects to break through work bottlenecks. The group's president Wang Tianyi requested various specialized companies to strengthen team construction, bravely break through bottlenecks and increase cash flows. On the conference, it also announced the name list of new group of leaders of the group company. Vice-president Liu Qun reported on behalf of BIIP. In the first half of 2006, BIIP continuously implemented the strategy of "transferring the land into housing" with entire completion of 15 thousand square meters standard workshops and adjusted the first phase plan to strive for maximum usage of land resources. The application work of the second phase control and plan obtained the approval from Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Planning. We should create conditions to devote for various preferential policies and properly solved problems to compensate farmer's land. It successively contracted to establish two parks in other cities in which Qingdao Park acquired substantial progress to be the first park that implemented startup. The international cooperation succeeded so that the first US$ 40 million investment and financial consulting project was smoothly progressed and its first financial consulting charge had been paid to our account. On the second half year, BIIP would all-roundly complete the adjustment and replay to the Control and Plan for the development land in the first phase as well as the replay to the Control and Plan of the second phase. We would continue to put in practice the strategy of transferring the land into housing to build 400000 m2 of offices and standard workshops. Deployment for ten parks in other cities would be successfully finished and two parks will be substantially started up on the basis of Qingdao Park. It would establish ten leading groups in charge of cultivating and duplicating team members. We would constantly expand the idea to cooperate with the Fortune 500 enterprises to play its play in inviting business to various parks. It would stress on investment intermediate to establish a platform for investment and financial services in order to produce more benefits. We would cultivate a professional manager team with teamwork consciousness and antagonistic spirits so as to introduce high-end talent and cultivate powerful managers and officers as well as strong teams. Participating representatives were uniformly affirmed and praised the actual work effects of BIIP and Liu's brilliant speech. In the first "competition of brilliant speeches" for the work conference, Liu was ranked at the first place. President Wang Tianyi pointed
out in his speech that the development of industrial civilization stressed
more on teamwork cooperation. It was easy to find out from the 2006
World Cup that teams from advanced industrial European countries such
as Italy, France and Germany behaved excellently and powerfully. Although
their teams didn't possess shining stars such as Maradona and Ronaldo,
they won the game at last and respects from people relying on teamwork's
strengths. CIIC was an internationalized team and enterprise and served
for global economic services on the basis of the entire world. Therefore
we should regard the China's culture of thousands years as the force
to drive enterprise development. Wang advocated all staff to hold high
spirit of "selflessness, no ego and fearlessness" and study
Goldman Sachs & Co.'s teamwork to stress on "we" (instead
of "I") so as to break through work bottleneck by teamwork.
He noted at last that numbers were universal language among enterprises;
specialized companies show their performance with cash flows. We should
dare to compare with the best enterprise in the field and strive to
be the best.
