At the afternoon, November 28th, 2007, Beijing International Information Industry Base held the Celebration for Completion and Power Transmission of Shigezhuang 110kV Power Transmitting & Transforming Project, and the many notabilities attended the celebration, including Li Baohua, the Deputy Secretary of Changping Electricity Distribution Company under Beijing Electric Power Corporation, Zhang Xinsheng, the Deputy Director of Development and Reform Committee of the District, Qi Bingrui, the Head of Huilongguan Town, Zhang Wentao, the Vice Head of Town, Liu Qun, the General Manager of Beijing International Information Industry Base, and the leaders of Bank of Beijing and Changping Chenguang Changsheng Bonding Company.

The Shigezhuang 110kV Power Transmitting & Transforming Project was co-invested and co-constructed by Beijing International Information Industry Base and the Changping Electricity Distribution Company, its completion and operation marks the further perfection of the utilities infrastructures in Beijing International Information Industry Base. From item establishment to project completion, the project has received vigorous supports and helps from all-level leaders of the Changping Government and well as the relevant units such as Bank of Beijing and Changping Chenguang Changsheng Bonding Company. Not only will the 110 kV capacity be able to meet all the increasing power demands from the enterprises in the Industry Base, but also be able to play a significant role to promote attracting more enterprise headquarters, R&D design centers and hatchibator centers to be constructed in the park, for the planning and construction the Headquarters Base of North Beijing in the Industry Base. Moreover, the Power Transmitting & Transforming Project will be able to provide power service to the peripheral areas such as Huilongguan Town and Shahe Town, consequently is a good-will to benefit the common people and the enterprises in the peripheral areas. Further more, the project will play a positive role to promote the development of regional economy and to improve the housing conditions of masses.
