China Aeronautical Project and Design Institute (CAPDI)
and China Aviation Construction Engineering Group
(CACEG)-North Area put into use

On November 24, the sky was cloudless
blue and the sun shone brightly. The CAPDI and CACEG north area was
put into use. CAPDI was established in 1951 and then became a Class-A
design institute of China, one of China's top 100 survey and design
organizations in terms of comprehensive strength, the winner of the
National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology and the undertaker
of planning, design, supervision, EPC (Engineering, Procurement and
Construction) and consulting businesses for a great number of civil
buildings and civil industries. For more than twenty years, it has undertook
more than 60 EPC and project management projects, which totally cover
a building area of more than 2.8 million square meters and cost more
than 11 billion yuan.
At 10:38 am, with the beginning of the lion dancing, the ceremony drew
the curtain. Officials attending the ceremony include: Hong Bo, deputy
director of the People's Government of Changping District, Ren Haohe,
director of the Development and Reform Commission of Changping District,
Ren Chuxin, deputy director of the Development and Reform Commission
of Changping District, Yuan Limin, director of the Business Promotion
Bureau of Changping District, He Jun, secretary of CPC Huilongguan Town
Committee, Qi Bingrui, supervisor of Huilongguan Town, Zhang Wentao,
deputy supervisor of Huilongguan Town, Liu Qun, general manager of BIIIB,
and Ma Lianhui, vice general manager of BIIP, leaders of CAPDI and CACEG
and staff of companies that have settled down in the park.

Mr. Qi Bingrui, on behalf of
the government of Huilongguan Town, showed welcome to CAPDI and high
appreciated the work for business promotion done by BIIP. He emphasized
that, great support would be provided for the economic construction
of Huilongguan as long as it benefited the development of Beijing, and
the Huilongguan government would try best to be a service-oriented government.
Mr. Hong Bo also welcomed the CAPDI and CACEG and expressed thanks to
the work of BIIP. He said, although it was still far from being satisfactory
now, the Huilongguan government was working on a number of policies
that would be issued soon to guarantee that the companies could overcome
the financial crisis in a safe way.
CAPDI chairman launched the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the ceremony
came to an end in the colored ribbons and the sound of firecrackers,
gongs and drums.
